Preferences Chapter 3. Concepts
Quick Diff Preference Page
The Quick Diff preferences can be changed on the Quick Diff preference page, accessed via Text Editors →

Enable quick diff Selected
Enables/disables the quick diff option.
Show differences in
overview ruler
Deselected
This option shows differences in the overview ruler.
Colors
Changes
Sets the color indicating changes.

Additions
Sets the color indicating additions.

Deletions
Sets the color indicating deletions.
(1)
Use this reference source Version on disk
This option sets which reference to use as the base for
generating quick diff comparisons. Options are: Version
on Disk: Current file is compared against the last saved
version on disk.
Notes:
(1)
The button to the right of the option allows changes to the display color (refer to Changing Color Coding).
